A Closer Look at New Balance's “All Terrain Collection” Rugged Trail Runners
Made for long-lasting comfort in the outdoors.

New Balance continues to cater to the outdoors crowd with the latest release of its “All Terrain Collection.” The All Terrain Collection is based around the NB 850 running silhouette but incorporates materials and construction to help you through rugged terrain and less favorable weather conditions.
The collection is comprised of the 850AT and the Hierro v5 trail shoes. The 850AT sees Fresh Foam cushioning joined with a grippy Vibram outsole, and also see a traditional hiking shoe upper that is mixed with synthetics. The combination of bold colors and fluorescent branding are a nod to retro-’90s outdoor gear. The Hierro v5 takes on more of a streamline design, allowing for more of a street-meets-outdoors aesthetic, incorporating a more lightweight and breathable upper made from TPU-coated textiles. The Hierro V5 also sees Fresh Foam X cushioning combined with a Vibram MegaGrip outsole.
Those looking to pick up a pair can do so at New Balance retail locations starting November 16. The 850AT will retail for $110 USD while the Hierro is priced at $135 USD.
