Riot Games Marks 'League of Legends' Worlds 2019 With New Music Collective, True Damage
Featuring Becky G, Keke Palmer, SOYEON of (G)I-DLE, Thutmose, and Duckwrth.
To celebrate the League of Legends World Championship 2019, Riot Games introduced their new music collective, True Damage. Serving as the follow-up to K/DA, the latest virtual group consisting of themed versions of League of Legends characters Qiyana, Senna, Akali, Ekko and Yasuo voiced by Becky G, Keke Palmer, SOYEON of (G)I-DLE, Thutmose and Duckwrth.
Aside from releasing an animated video for their debut track, the hip-hop group took to the stage at the 2019 League of Legends World Championship Final Opening Ceremony. Both the in-game characters and real talent treated fans to a riveting performance assisted by striking holographic effects. Riot Games is also planning to release a 15 piece capsule centered around True Damage December 5 with additional limited drops scheduled through 2020.
