Apple TV+ Offers One-Year Free Trial with Purchase of Apple Device
Paid subscription currently falls at $4.99 USD a month.

Apple is offering a limited-time deal in celebration of Apple TV+‘s launch. Customers who will purchase or have purchased Apple devices after September 10, 2019 will be gifted with a one-year free trial of its newest streaming service, regardless of whether it’s an iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Apple TV or Mac — as long as the device is “capable of running the latest iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, or macOS” software.
Customers who purchase new Apple devices have up to three months from purchase date to redeem the offer and begin the one-year trial. The subscription will be sharable with a maximum of five family members in the “Family Sharing” group and allows up to six simultaneous streams.
Similar to other free trial offers, customers who sign up for the complimentary deal will automatically purchase Apple TV+’s paid monthly subscription once the free one-year trial ends. Those who aren’t looking to add another streaming service subscription to their credit card bills will need to actively opt out.
