Watch the First Episode of Nickelodeon's 'Are You Afraid of the Dark?' Reboot
The Midnight Society returns.
Following its premiere at Beyond Fest, Nickelodeon has debuted the first episode of its Are You Afraid of the Dark? reboot online.
The show’s inaugural episode follows Rachel Carpenter (Lyliana Wray), a young girl tormented by continuous nightmares. Friendless and new in school, she receives an invitation from the new Midnight Society to join their group — all she has to do is tell them a horror story by a campfire. As she undergoes initiation and tells the tale of the “Carnival of Doom,” the story comes to life and possibly endangers the young crew.
Consisting of three, one-hour long episodes, the rest of the cast includes Sam Ashe Arnold, Miya Chech, Tamara Smart, Jeremy Taylor of IT and Rafael Casal.
