Footpatrol and FILA Head to the Great Outdoors With New Boveasorus 98 AT
Arriving in muted and bold colorways.
FILA already has one of the most omnipotent shoes of the year under its belt thanks to the chunky Disruptor, and now, with a little help from Footpatrol, it’s introducing a Special Products line via a new design that’s dubbed the Boveasorus 98 AT.
A contemporary version of a ’90s FILA silhouette, the Boveasorus 98 AT aims to put an old-school spin on current-day techwear and outdoorsman trends. It does so with a detailed upper that mixes leather and mesh panels for a bold layered effect. The midsole then features an aggressive tread pattern that was made to keep its wearer secure no matter if they’re trekking through the backcountry or traversing the city. It’ll be available in a muted all-black colorway and a more bold volt/black mix, both of which feature high-vis reflective detailing and a green gecko connection that’ll be a constant of the Special Projects line.
Both styles will release in-store and via footpatrol.com on October 12 for £75 (approx. $83 USD). See the shoes both on and off foot above, and for more fresh footwear be sure to check out a roundup of the top vis-tech sneakers to add to your rotation right now.
