Daniel Arsham Enlists Superstar Roster of Collaborators for The House at Selfridges Corner Shop
Including A-COLD-WALL*, AMBUSH, Byredo and more.
Daniel Arsham’s latest project is called The House and is part of Selfridges Future Fantasy campaign. The concept imagines what familiar pieces of today might look like in the distant future and includes a house diorama that includes a front yard, kitchen, living room, office and closet.
Each space will have one-of-one Arsham Future Relic editions, including an adapted Pierre Jeanneret armchair, Porsche 911, crystallised basketball hoop and an ‘80s era Macintosh. In addition to these, they’ll be small drops of the Rimowa Eroded Attache releasing throughout the residency.
To celebrate the space, Arsham has joined forces with a series of collaborators for limited edition pieces. This includes a capsule collection with A-COLD-WALL*, a three piece selection from AMBUSH and Byredo items that have been given the Arsham touch. This sits alongside SS20 Dior Homme pieces co-created by Kim Jones and Arsham, as well as smaller partnerships with New Era, READYMADE, Mont Blanc, Gentle Monster, Bamford Watch Department and SMEG.
In addition to this, everyday items, such as the Heinz cream of tomato soup have been remade by Arsham. To finish this off, Arsham also remade Selfridges’ carrier bag. The House by Daniel Arsham is at the Selfridges Corner Shop space from October 21 2019 until January 5 2020.
