Charli XCX Watches a Car Catch on Fire in "White Mercedes" Music Video

Charli XCX recently released her highly-anticipated third studio album, Charli, featuring collaborations with Lizzo, Troye Sivan, Sky Ferreira and more. Today, Charli XCX dropped the official music video for her track “White Mustang.”
Directed by Colin Solal Cardo, the visuals follow the singer as she sits in a white car suspended in the air, stands on top of a truck as it drives through an open field and interacts with a majestic white horse. At the end of the video, the first car is consumed by flames. The dramatic visuals are accompanied by Charli XCX’s lyrics about a romance she does not deserve, such as “When your heart is breaking, you keep on taking me back” and “One day I’ll pull through and I’ll be good enough.”
