Balenciaga's Track.2 Trainers Land in Faded Black Edition
With a touch of metallic.

After an extensive offering of its popular Triple S and Track sneakers over the last year, Balenciaga introduced a refreshing new option to its footwear assortment with the Track.2 trainer that launched over the summer. The low-top style has since surfaced with bold shades like neon green and a Lakers-esque purple and yellow, but the latest edition scales things back with a shadowy all-black upper.
To give the dark shoe a more distinctive design, the label has given the mesh and nylon exterior a faded look for a worn-in finish. Elsewhere, the sneaker’s prominent 176-panel design remains intact, alongside logos that are featured on the toe cap, tongue patch and insole. Metallic details are then added along the midsole for a touch of silver, while another metal-plated element is lodged into the outsole for a final lustrous execution.
The Track.2 Trainers in black are priced at $895 USD and available now at Balenciaga’s webstore.
Recently, the brand released the sporty model in a “Black/Red” colorway that’s accented with crisp white details.
