Joining the two checkered Chinese New Year-themed predecessors, Chinese brand Purlicue and Vans release another pair of Old Skools to complete the triptych.

Ditching the vibrant red palette, this iteration is dominated by a “porky” hue. The canvas upper is coated with vamp and heel calfskin overlays while the heel is embellished with a inky, oversized branding tag. Coming in black and “Nude,” two sets of shoe laces and detachable midfoot leather Jazz stripes accompany the sneakers. A co-branded pig graphic details the insoles, whereas a celebratory “The Fat Year” on the outsole rounds off the design.

The Purlicue x Vans Old Skool “Year Of The Pig” is now available at select retailers, priced at approximately $95 USD.
