The Nike Air Max Light is coming back in its original colorway. This style made its first appearance in 1989, and acted as inspiration for the design of the Air Max 90.

Keeping major features of the Air Max 1, the Air Max Light sees the signature bubble unit in the midsole, and likewise, the “Nike Air” motifs can be found on the tongue as well as at the rear. A contrasting combination of white, navy and “Sports Red” takes over the uppers; the navy Swoosh and nubuck overlay embellishes the vintage white body. An electrifying “Sports Red” coats the insole, lining and the lacestays, finishing-up the retro look of the Air Max Light.

The Air Max Light will be available on January 10 at select Nike retailers like atmos, and on Nike.com.

Earlier this week, Nike announces the drop of the Nike Air Max 90 “White Storm”.
