The Shoe Surgeon & His Son Review Fake YEEZY Kid's Shoes
Breaking down child-sized replicas.
Dominic Ciambrone, better known as The Shoe Surgeon, and his son, Emil, joined hypekids to explore the world of fake children’s footwear. Specifically, the duo took on a selection of child-sized YEEZY sneakers, with Ciambrone going in-depth regarding the construction of the sneakers and his thoughts on fake shoes.
After giving a pair of YEEZY BOOST 700 “Wave Runner”s an “A for effort,” Ciambrone admits that “it’s a little bit more challenging” to tell the current-day fake sneakers from the real ones; immediately afterward however, Emil declares that a pint-sized pair of YEEZY Desert Rat 500 “Blush” are not the real deal. Later, Ciambrone explains the irregularities on a pair of “Utility Black” Desert Rats, which include brown stitching and “really, really hard rubber” on the soles, garnering the fake a rating of 1/10.
