Sam Smith's "Too Good at Goodbyes" Comes to Life in Emotional Video
He’s back after nearly quitting music.
After releasing his comeback single last week, the Grammy Award-winning crooner has just unveiled an emotional new video for his track, “Too Good at Goodbyes.” Directed by Luke Monaghan, the video opens with an up-close shot of a slender Sam Smith as he sings a melody in what appears to be a music studio of sorts.
As the song begins to unfold, Smith finally gazes into the camera and begins singing verses in an alley where he’s also backed by grand piano. The scenes eventually cut in between shots of Smith singing in the studio and couples enjoying each other’s company. Press play to watch above.
