Nike Is Set to Debut the All-New Air Huarache Grip
The evolution continues.
Since breaking out onto the scene way back in the early ‘90s, Nike’s Air Huarache has found a home with both athletes and sneaker aficionados alike, dropping in a barrage of colorways, collab reworks and hybrid creations. With that in mind, a new variation of the throwback silhouette, dubbed the Air Huarache Grip, will soon drop.
Seen above in both “Sail/Team Orange/White/Wolf Grey” and “Black/Olive Canvas/Indigo Burst” colorways, the shoe takes on a slew of progressive design twists, including an oversized lace shroud with vintage Huarache branding, which sits directly in front of the newly-designed high-top sock-style ankle collar. Other notable accents include mini Swooshes on the vamp area and the word “Grip” placed on the heel side cage overlay. Although price has still yet to be confirmed, the new Air Huarache Grip will make its grand debut on September 22 through Nike’s online store.
