With A Star Is Born set to premiere on October 5, Lady Gaga has released the music video for “Shallow,” which was first heard in the movie’s trailer. In the upcoming remake of William A. Wellman and Robert Carson’s 1973 story, the movie sees a burnt-out rock star Jackson Maine (Bradley Cooper) help struggling artist Ally (Lady Gaga) find fame. The movie not only deals with the couple’s romantic relationship but also touches on issues such as alcoholism, substance abuse and mental health.

Watch the video above where Cooper and Gaga’s vocal range is on full display and catch the movie at a theatre near you in the coming weeks.
