Porsche Unveils Its Updated 935s Model at Rennsport Reunion
Limited to 77 units.
Looking to honor its original 935 racing model, Porsche recently put together an updated version at this year’s Rennsport Reunion showcase.
Paying homage to its racing history, the Porsche 935s was designed to replicate the long and wide look of the 935/78 with full carbon-fiber composite panels that improve aerodynamics and reduce the weight of the car. The car also comes complete with aero wheels, a 75-inch wide rear wing and headlights mounted in the lower air intakes. Looking at the car’s specs, the new 935 features a twin-turbo 3.8-liter engine that generates 700 horsepower that is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual clutch transmission. Finally, the interior of the car is outfitted with a carbon-fiber steering wheel, Recaro racing seats, six-point harness and an air jack and fire extinguishing system.
Set to be priced around $817,167 USD, the Porsche 935s is set to release in June 2019 and will be limited to only 77 units.
