Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson Reportedly Set to Return to WWE
For the 1,000th episode of ‘SmackDown.’
According to wrestling podcast, Barnburner’s Fired Up, hosted by the wrestling insider Joe Peisich, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson could be gearing up to return to the WWE.
Peisich notes that The Rock is very close to signing a deal with the organization to make an appearance on the 1,000th episode of WWE SmackDown. With wrestling legend, The Undertaker, already set to make an appearance at the show set for the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC, many fans are pointing to a legends match between the two. The last time wrestler turned actor appeared in the ring was in 2016 for the WrestleMania 32 pay-per-view event.
