BMW Premieres Sleek 2019 Z4 sDrive 30i & 2020 Z4 M40i Production Models

The subject of much anticipation, imagery of BMW‘s Z4 M40i in production model form has finally arrived. Though the German manufacturer initially introduced the car in its First Edition makeup last month, it has now debuted the 2019 sDrive 30i and 2020 M40i in their regular-grade iterations.
Although the SDrive 30i boasts a 2.0-liter four-cylinder TwinPower engine, capable of 255 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque, its M40i counterpart utilizes a 3.0-liter inline-six for 382 hp and 369 lb-ft, capable of launching the car from 0-60 in 4.4 seconds. Furthermore, the M40i hosts a selection of BMW’s top-shelf M Sport parts, ranging from upgraded brakes and adaptive suspension to digitally-controlled dampers. Both vehicles ride on eighteen-inch wheels, with BMW’s iDrive software hosted inside via an infotainment screen. The M40i also features a 9.9 cubic-foot trunk, 50 percent larger than the last Z4 model.
