Arte Antwerp Stitches Together Colorful Knitwear for FW18
The Belgian label gets comfy.
Belgium’s Arte Antwerp returns for Fall/Winter 2018 with a selection of low-key comfortwear informed by colorful sweaters and heavy duty knitwear. Prints and patterns were informed by Swiss pharmaceutical company Geigy, known for its bright graphic illustrations. Workwear influence comes by way of plaid wool overshirts, straight-legged trousers, patched jeans and padded vests, slightly subverted with pops of color, light washes and trim cuts. Elsewhere, more casual inspiration informs the color-blocked sweatsuits and bright pink pullovers, affected by bold, branded prints.
