The adidas Y-3 Super High Is an Updated Take on a Classic Silhouette
Fusing past and present.
Shortly after Y-3 gave the adidas Superstar a luxurious upgrade, Yohji Yamamoto adds another option to the mix in the Super High silhouette. Its raised upper sees a combination of premium leather and suede on its black and white canvas. The Three Stripes’ staple shelltoe returns as a nod to the past as Y-3 branding is incorporated on the tongues and lateral sides. Perforated holes form adidas’ Three Stripes insignia on both lateral and medial sides as the sole unit gets dipped in “Sail” coloring.
The adidas Y-3 Super High is currently available at select stockists such as Allike for approximately $350 USD. Y-3 enthusiasts can also take a look at its Kaiwa Runner in red and black.
