The Shoe Surgeon & Nike Team up on a Gold & Diamond-Dipped Nike LeBron 15
Celebrating King James breaking the 30,000 point barrier.
The Shoe Surgeon recently hit up Instagram to tease his latest project, involving a collaborative arrangement with Nike to commemorate one of LeBron James’s many on-court milestones. Earlier this year, King James notched 30,000 career points as a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers, which the noted sneaker artist thought to celebrate in the form of a lavish one-of-one sneaker fit for royalty.
Referring to the masterpiece as his most challenging project to date, The Shoe Surgeon drenched the Nike LeBron 15’s croc skin outer in a healthy dose of 24 karat gold with additional gold-plated goodness hitting the heel clip and lace tips. Said to run upwards of $100,000 USD, the blinged-out kicks also spotlight a cluster of diamonds, which can be spotted on the branded “WORLD” and “CHAMPIONS” aglets, in addition to the separate 18 karat Franco chain/pendant combo formed to mimic LeBron’s lion head logo. For more info on the custom creation, be sure to visit The Shoe Surgeon’s official website.
In case you missed it, BAPE & adidas will also drop a black camo-infused UltraBOOST.
