Multi-talented Detroit artist Amir Obe has released a new studio project titled Can’t Be A ____ Here: Chapter 1. Made up of four new tracks, the Can’t Be A ____ Here: Chapter 1 EP serves as the first entry in a new trilogy from Obe.
“My music is so introspective but it’s never fully directed at a certain thing, it’s always kind of just conversational,” Amir Obe previously told us, breaking down his sound and style. “People apply music to their own life or their own situation. It could be about a relationship but it could be about somebody’s business. I want them to answer that question, that’s up for the listener to interpret or the viewer.”
