New SEGA 'Streets of Rage' Game Being Released 25 Years Later
Axel and Blaze return for ‘Streets of Rage 4.’
25 years after the release of what would be considered the franchise’s last installment, publisher DotEmu has unveiled a new trailer for SEGA‘s Streets of Rage 4. The side-scrolling beat ‘em up title will see the return of mainstay protagonists Axel Stone and Blaze Fielding as they take on familiar foes in gloriously cartoonish animation.
Although the trailer shows some gameplay footage, it is currently unknown which platforms the title will be available for. Double Dragon, one of the franchise’s early inspiration, was recently revived in part due to the resurgence in classic 2D games.
