Taking to downtown Manhattan and Princeton.

New York-based menswear label Rowing Blazers has introduced its Fall/Winter 2018 collection, a range of casual staples that combine classic American collegiate style with street sensibilities.

Drawing inspiration from vintage Ralph Lauren ads and the Japanese photography book “Take Ivy,” the lookbook brings us to downtown Manhattan and Princeton, where stiff impressions of “preppy” are given a relevant, youthful revival.

The collection includes graphic tees, rugby shirts inspired by Hockney and Mick Jagger, jackets and wide-leg trousers in wide-wale Italian corduroy and a custom-woven gun blue check, as well as collaborations with J. Press (inventor of the Shaggy Dog sweater) and Harry’s New York Bar in Paris. Also included are T-shirts paying homage to RB founder Jack Carlson‘s recent court summons for putting stickers up in Lower Manhattan.

The Rowing Blazers FW18 collection will be releasing in four deliveries, with the first drop slated for September 6 at the Rowing Blazers web store and Soho location.

If you’re looking for something more extreme, Thom Browne released a $5,000 USD sleeping bag for FW18.
