Quavo Talks About Solo Career & Not Leaving Migos
“It’s an alley-oop for the biggest slam dunk in the game.”
Quavo stopped by the Angie Martinez Show this week to speak about his upcoming solo work. Martinez asked the Migos member if his solo records “Workin Me,” “Lamb Talk,” and “Bubble Gum” were part of a bigger project, to which he said that the tracks were just a taste of something bigger.
“It’s an alley-oop for the biggest slam dunk in the game,” Quavo said. “It’s gonna be crazy. It’s on the way.” Martinez then asked for more details, including whether Quavo was thinking about leaving his group.
“No,” he assures. “It’s going places and coming back with the trophy so we can celebrate. That’s it.” Although he doesn’t specify, Quavo confirmes that something is arriving next month.
