Nike’s Kyrie Flytrap Model Drops in a Patriotic Makeover
A new kind of red, white and blue.
Although Kyrie Irving’s signature Nike Kyrie 4 has enjoyed a busy run of things, dropping in a myriad of colorway options over the past few months, his Flytrap series has remained relatively quiet over that same timespan — until now that is. With that in mind, Nike recently unveiled a patriotic-themed rendition, integrating red and blue accents onto a relatively clean white base.
A breathable engineered mesh construction forms the upper, featuring a unique wrap-around tongue and toe box design, both of which sits atop a tricolored outsole. Other artistic accents include the lateral-side speckled detailing, customary Swoosh emblems, and the molded heel design complete with Irving’s jersey number. An official stateside release has still yet to be confirmed, however, some models have begun popping up on eBay.
