Vault by Vans & Julian Klincewicz Reinterpret OG Silhouettes for New Originals Collaboration
Fresh takes on the Old Skool, Slip-On and more.
Back in June, Vault by Vans teamed up with John Van Hamersveld for a joint sneaker line and two special t-shirt designs. For the latest Vault by Vans collaboration, the brand teams up with eclectic, forward-thinking artist Julian Klincewicz.
Vault by Vans and Julian Klincewicz’s new Originals collaboration delivers vibrant new spins on beloved OG styles. Notably, the pairing’s new collaborative drop employs premium materials to produce new iterations of the Classic Slip On, Authentic LX, Old Skool LX and Epoch Sport LX silhouettes. Black, blue, slate, cumin and marshmallow tones are utilized for the colorways, while consumers will also find cow- and leopard-print detailing on some of the new creations.
“Vans has been sort of a staple in my life since I was a kid – first through skating, and later through fashion and music, and now art,” Klincewicz shares via press statement. “I’m particularly interested in the Vault by Vans category, since it always felt like it fit me the best. Even when all I did was skate, I would be drawn to the shoes because I could tell they sort of transcended genres a bit. It’s the arm of the company that’s able to reach out to artists, to designers, to other brands, to people who don’t necessarily fit within one category – and collaborate and reinterpret classics.”
