Nike Air Safari Returns Donning a Retro Air Max 1 Colorway
A nod to the 2008 AM1 Supreme “Tech Pack.”

After reuniting with a classic atmos Air Max 1 colorway, Nike‘s Air Safari returns bearing more throwback style in a colorway that looks back to 2008 — specifically the multicolored Air Max 1 Supreme “Tech Pack” model.
This Air Safari lifts the exact same composition as its 2008 AM1 counterpart, featuring a mix of elephant print, suede and leather panels on its upper. The same bright hues of orange, red, green, pale blue and black remain in the same formation with elephant texture at the toe mudguard and heel, a black midsole and color-blocked outsole. The only visible differences are the perforated detailing at the vamp area (in place of the original’s cracked leather makeup) and the lack of Air Max bubble units in the sole.
This colorful Nike Air Safari is expected to release in the near future for $110 USD at Nike’s web store. Let us know if you prefer the original or the contemporary version and for more retro kicks, check out the Nike Air Scream LWP in “Persian Violet.”
