Vic Mensa definitely doesn’t hold back when it comes to speaking out against injustices he believes police commit. As we’re learning today, it looks like the Roc Nation rapper has now been the target of said harassment. Taking to a social media video today, Vic Mensa had the following to share with his fans and LAPD in particular:

For his side of the story, Vic Mensa reveals that he was detained by LAPD offices after shopping at Barneys. After being detained by LAPD for “theft,” Vic believes he was racially profiled and targeted. ““That’s the craziest part about it, I went and bought some ill Saint Laurent boots, some more shit from Barneys, and we get all pulled out the fucking car and get accused of stealing. And on top of that, they don’t even know what they think we stole,” he says. Earlier this week, news emerged regarding a time Vic Mensa contemplated suicide. He also debuted some new music last weekend.
