Kanye West Teases Re-Designed YEEZY 451 Silhouette
From legendary sneaker designer Steven Smith.

After first revealing an “early prototype” of the YEEZY 451 back in April, Kanye West has now shared news of how the development of the silhouette is progressing. In an image posted on Twitter, ‘Ye revealed that sneaker designer Steven Smith had been reworking the silhouette’s sole unit, complete with the distinctive molded spikes that wrap around the upper.
Smith is a legendary designer who has worked for Nike, adidas, Reebok and New Balance before joining the YEEZY team back in 2016. Smith’s previous designs include the Reebok Instapump Fury, New Balance 574 and the Nike Zoom Streak Spectrum. According to Kanye, the redesigned YEEZY 451 will drop in 2019.
In related news, adidas and YEEZY are set to re-release the YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 in “Triple White.”
