Madrid’s Foot District is making moves; the sneaker retailer is expanding beyond the Spanish capital city and moving into the scenic seaside city of Barcelona. Situated in the city’s Gothic quarter, Foot District is moving into a century-old building, elevated by luxurious architecture and interiors. Exposed brick meshes with white marble flooring and golden accents, blending the space’s historical importance with sumptuous design flourishes. Geometric cubes tie in with the angular shelving units and angular furnishings, granting futuristic flair to the already-lush layout. An outdoor patio and expansive windows flood the store with natural light, complemented by well-lit shelving units and ceiling-mounted lighting fixtures.
