'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2' Is Now Backward Compatible on Xbox One
A classic returns.

The Xbox 360‘s 2009 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is now backward compatible on the Xbox One, according to Xbox’s Major Nelson. Meaning, anyone who owns a copy of the game can now play it on their Xbox One console.
Nelson tweeted that the heavily requested Modern Warfare 2 will be compatible starting today, and it’s been confirmed that all previous player statistics and DLC will remain intact. However, if your account was previously banned, that means it will remain banned as well. With this final compatibility, now all of the Call of Duty games are playable on the Xbox One.
If however you don’t have a copy of the MW2, the title is currently available to purchase for $19.99 USD and $14.99 exclusively for Gold Members on Xbox’s Marketplace. If you’re capable of holding out however, a Modern Warfare 2 remaster is slated to appear this year as well.
In related news, a bunch of Nickelodeon classics is now available on VRV’s streaming service.
