Blood Orange Premieres "Chewing Gum" With A$AP Rocky Live on 'Kimmel'
An atmospheric performance.

Dev Hynes (A.K.A. Blood Orange) is set to drop Negro Swan later this month, and the artist premiered a cut off the project on Jimmy Kimmel Live, ahead of its release. The track, “Chewing Gum” features the likes of A$AP Rocky and Project Pat and had a live performance reminiscent of the ’90s.
The rap-focused beat carries Blood’s hazy vocals, with a sample of Pat sprinkled throughout and Rocky rapping in between. Pat wasn’t around to perform his verse live. Negro Swan will release on August 24 and will include features from Puff Daddy and Steve Lacy, as well as non-performers, such as trans activist and author Janet Mock, alongside Amandla Stenberg as a special mentioned. This will be Blood Orange’s fourth album following the release of Freetown Sound in 2016.
