2015 marked the debut of a silhouette that would become adidas’ most ubiquitous runner, UltraBOOST. Now, nearly four years after its introduction, UltraBOOST’s most coveted kicks are coming back. For this fall and winter, Foot Locker and Champs Sports will pull from the UltraBOOST 2.0’s past to “unvault” the best drops. Initiating the launch exclusively at both retailers the first drop from the vault is the 2016 “Multicolor” iteration.
Sustaining the shoes’ original technology, this pair sits atop a full BOOST sole unit. Moving to the upper, a boldly-colored pattern interweaves from the toebox to the ankle collar while receiving a tonal break from the inclusion of white Primeknit. Accents such as the flat white TPU lacing cage and the red heel cup complete the offering.
Shop the sneaker on August 23 in-store and via Foot Locker’s website. Also, be on the lookout for additional colorways dropping now until the end of the year at Foot Locker and Champs Sports.
