Vince Staples & James Blake's Andre 3000-Powered "War Ready" Debuts
One of the biggest collabs of 2016.
Earlier in the year, Vince Staples revealed plans for a new EP entitled Prima Donna. Introducing the effort during a FADER interview, the LBC rapper spoke of collaborations with James Blake and more. Now, we’re being treated to a snippet of one of the project’s biggest tracks. Known as “War Ready,” today’s debut boasts an Andre 3000 sample and production by James Blake. The snippet premiered today comes to us courtesy of the latest episode of Ballers, which featured the track during its ending credits. You can check out a clip of “War Ready” here. Late last month, James Blake also brought Vince Staples on stage for a memorable Glastonbury showcase.
