Tyler, the Creator‘s lifelong admiration of Pharrell and The Neptunes‘ work is well-documented, as well as Tyler’s current connection to Pharrell. Today, July 25, is the ten-year anniversary of Pharrell’s debut solo album In My Mind; fittingly, Tyler was there to commemorate the project. Taking to Instagram, the Cherry Bomb shared a lengthy statement regarding the project and its influence on him. “I NEVER HAD BROTHERS,UNCLES OR MY FATHER AROUND SO THANK YOU FOR BEING THE MALE FIGURE I GRAVITATED TO,” he writes.
