UPDATE: More images of the Tinker Hatfield-designed Air Jordan 13 “Bred” have surfaced. A detailed look reveals a red nubuck upper, “23” embossed across the mid-foot straps, a shimmering green jewel heel piece and glow-in-the-dark outlines on the sole unit. We had our first look at the Tinker Hatfield-designed Air Jordan 13 model in black and white colorways back in May. Now, the alternate AJ13 sneaker, which is based on a Tinker sketch from 1996, has surfaced in the famous “Bred” colorway, as shown by Jordan Brand athlete Tim Hardaway Jr.
As seen in the image, this Tinker AJ13 model takes on the original Air Jordan 13 blueprints with a punctuated leather upper and pod-like sole unit, however, this time, appearing in a low-top form with a mid-foot cross strap. The familiar black and red color scheme is visited by a neon green hue via the strap loop, Jumpman branding and outsole.
No word yet on when this Tinker-designer Air Jordan 13 model will release, but it’s expected to drop in the near future. Stay tuned for more details and let us know if you’re a fan of this remixed classic in the comments below.
