An On-Foot Look at the Pharrell x adidas Solar Hu Glide St
Rainbow hues.
After a first look at the colorful sneaker in March, we now have better imagery of the color-rich Pharrell x adidas Solar HU Glide St. Though better imagery of the pair that Pharrell himself wore last month has yet to emerge, sneak photographer @yankeekicks alongside @storebyjc showcases the rainbow-toned pair on-foot, making for the best shots of the silhouette to date. Colorful orange, pink, yellow, red and blue panels meet on the mesh upper, with green plastic heel counters adding another contrasting hue to the rear. Patterned laces loop through a 3D-molded vamp, tying in with black detailing on the midsole and sockliner. A clean white BOOST midsole compliments the saturated upper, and familiar “Hu” branding on the toe completes the design.
No word on the release date for the silhouette yet, like the “Breathe/Walk” adidas Original NMD Hu, but the collaborative adidas NMD Hu “Solar” pack recently received a release date.
Elsewhere, Pharrell was the best man at Pusha T’s wedding.
