See the worlds of ‘IT,’ ‘Carrie’ and ‘The Shawshank Redemption’ all in one place.
Stephen King and J.J. Abrams have joined forces to create Castle Rock, a new series that will be showing on Hulu. The show is named after the Maine town that brings together a host of King’s stories and features nods to several of the writers most famous stories, including IT, Cujo, The Shawshank Redemption and more.
The show stars Andre Holland, who was previously seen in Moonlight, and brings them alongside stars of King’s other adaptations — including IT’s Bill Skarsgard and Chosen Jacobs and Carrie’s Sissy Spacek. The trailer, which you can watch above, is filled with nods with the author’s past works. Castle Rock debuts on Hulu on July 25.
