Professor. E's SS18 Collection Is Inspired by the Feeling of Discovery

Returning for Spring/Summer 2018, fledgling narrative-based label Professor. E recently unveiled its latest seasonal collection with an evocative lookbook.
Titled “WIRE,” the new range from the Taiwan-based brand travels back to the 19th century, to a time centered around the scientific methods that served as guiding principles of discovery. Reinterpreting the consciousness of that time into a tangible design sensibility, the SS18 collection expressed the feeling of discovery through Professor. E’s signature linen and cotton raw edge detailing, artistic silhouettes, material collage and silkscreen printings. While accompanying accessories are made of repurposed electronic parts and cables representative of a period characterized by mechanical progression in search of a link between life, time and space.
