A hilarious new segment on Conan has seen 50 Cent ”audition” for the role of young Han Solo in the upcoming Star Wars spin-off movie. Directors Christopher Miller and Phil Lord have revealed that they saw over 3000 actors until eventually selecting Hail, Ceasar! actor Alden Ehrenreich, and the sketch plays on the idea of A-list celebrities who “went” for the role. Before 50 Cent makes an appearance, Bill Hader, Will Arnett, Melissa McCarthy, Thomas Middleditch, Jodie Foster, Adam Sandler, Kumail Nanjiani and Jeff Goldblum’s “audition tapes” are shown.
