A First Look at Nike's Air VaporMax Light 2
Another VaporMax reboot.
Nike‘s Air VaporMax has seen various hybrid revamps this year, but the latest model to don the signature bubble sole takes on a whole new silhouette. Dubbed the Air VaporMax Light 2, Nike’s most recent addition to the VaporMax clan features a high-top boot profile with a sock-like fit.
The Air VaporMax Light 2’s knitted upper features sculptural leather overlays that combine Western boot influences with a futuristic look. A slightly pointed toe ties in more of the traditional boot shape, while a sturdy midsole reinforced with molded mudguards adds some hefty support. This model is also the first to feature a semi-VaporMax sole, which appears at the heel area.
