Nike Debuts Two Air Max 97 & Air Max Plus Hybrids in "Orewood Brown"
Switching between the upper and sole.
Nike‘s latest hybrid sneaker endeavor brings us not one, but two mash-up silhouettes of the Air Max 97 and Air Max Plus. Debuting in a sleek “Orewood Brown” colorway, the duo offering switches between an AM97 upper with an AM Plus midsole and a reverse version of an AM Plus upper and 97 sole.
Both designs see a tonal “Orewood Brown” multi-textile upper and sole unit, accented with an espresso brown “Rattan String”-hued tongue, lace panel and inner lining. A pale mint green embroidered Swoosh at the tongue adds a subtle finishing touch to the two hybrid models.
The Nike Air Max Plus 97 (Plus upper) retails for $160 USD and the Air Max 97 Plus for $175 USD, both scheduled to release on August 1 at Nike’s web store and select Swoosh retailers such as mita sneakers.
