Nike Taps Chicago Artist Ju Working On Projects for Special Launch
In White & Avocado.

Nike has joined forces with Chicago artists Ju Working On Projects to present a special “Game Worn” pack. The Swoosh digs up the Sky Force 3/4 model from 1983 as it was the first Nike silhouette to incorporate patent leather prior to the Air Jordan 11. Designed with a white base, avocado complements the clean upper as it’s added to the Swoosh and heel branding in addition to the inner lining. You’ll also find Ju Working On Project’s signature design within the translucent outsole and on the sock liner. Its tissue paper also holds inspiration from the aforementioned cash saved.
The overall design celebrates the artist’s journey as he used his remaining funds to take a trip to Portland, OR to visit Nike’s campus, ultimately leading up to the drop. As a result, Nike will hold the Working On Projects Summer Camp in Chicago that will span from July 16 to July 20. This program will assist the next generation of dedicated creatives who call the South Side of Chicago home.
