Illegal Civilization Elevates a Trio of Classic Converse Shoes
Embroidered graphics and understated colors.

Illegal Civilization‘s skate videos and playful designs continue to expand the young brand’s popularity, with a new Converse collaboration indicative of the crew’s growing reach. Encompassing a trio of distinct silhouettes, Illegal Civilization (also known as Illegal Civ) reworks the classic Converse models with playful embroidery and clean colorways. A Jack Purcell appears in black and white, with branded dice stitched onto the tongue and Illegal Civ’s dino logo located on the heel.
Meanwhile, a pair of One Stars sports an all-white makeup, with dino logos printed on the midsole, a cowboy hat embroidered on the tongue and the logo’s cartoonish eye situated behind the lateral-side One Star branding. Finally, Auckland Racers appear in a similar all-white colorway, with yellow trim accenting the star logo and outsole, matching the heel branding and co-branding on the tongue.
Look for the sneakers to hit Zumiez’s web store soon.
Most recently, Illegal Civ brought out several hundred fans, 03 Greedo among them, for Go Skate Day.
