'House of Cards' Creators Present New Hulu Space Drama 'The First' Starring Sean Penn
Embarking on a terraforming mission.
It appears the series creators of House of Cards have jumped ship from Netflix to Hulu for a brand new series about space exploration ala Lost in Space called The First. The series stars Sean Penn as one member of a team of colonizers ready to embark for Mars and a terraform mission while their families struggle trying to cope that they may never see their loved ones again. The astronaut alternatively must deal with the pressures of their personal sacrifices as well as being the first humans to make it to Mars.
The First premieres Friday, September 14 on Hulu.
