A Closer Look at Gosha Rubchinskiy's Latest Rassvet Collection
New goods from the Russian designer.
Gosha Rubchinskiy & Tolia Titaev continue to drop new items under their Rassvet (PACCBET) line, having debuted the lookbook for the latest drop last week. We now have a closer peek at several items goods that, according to the brand, aim to reinforce the brand’s name (it’s pronounced “rass-vyet”) and make the label’s identity clear.
Pieces include a pair of branded blue socks and an oversized red tee emblazoned with “rasSvet ne zA goRami” — in English letters, not Cyrillic — which translates as “the sunrise is not far behind the mountain,” a nod to the meaning of Rassvet (sunrise). Meanwhil, Long-sleeved layers are less oblique and feature small graphics to accompany the text; the verbiage on a white shirt’s sleeve reads “это не рассвет,” which translates to “It’s not PACCBET.” Meanwhile, a sunny yellow sweater boasts “это будет другое…,” which means “It will be different…” A skate deck completes the drop, offering a colorful print identical to the red tee.
The brand’s new OKTYABR outpost, Dover Street Market and COMME DES GARÇONS stores will host the drop on July 28.
Most recently, key items from Rubchinskiy’s final eponymous collection recently hit stockists.
