One of Daft Punk's Old Drum Machines Is for Sale
“It’s impossible to set a price.”

The drum machine used by Daft Punk on the duo’s 1997 single “Revolution 909” is being sold by Vintage & Analogue Occasion on Facebook. The Roland TR-909 was part of Thomas Bangalter‘s collection, and is still loaded with the presets from 1996 when Daft Punk recorded the Homework album. Writing on Facebook, the seller explained that there was no set price for the drum machine: “Needless to say, it’s a collector’s item, so it’s impossible to set a price. We will sell it to the highest bidder…”
No date for the auction has been announced, so keep checking back to see when the drum machine finally goes on sale.
