Bentley Pays Tribute to Its Founder With Super-Limited Edition Design
Limited to 100 editions.

As part of its centenary celebrations, British automotive manufacturer Bentley has revealed a limited-edition car in honor of the company’s founder. The Mulsanne W.O. Edition by Mulliner is inspired by Walter Owen Bentley’s 1930 8-Liter vehicle, which was his personal car and the last vehicle he designed for the company that bears his name.
The luxurious car’s body is produced by the same company who made the original, with the car coming in “Onyx” with “Beluga Black” wheels and a chrome hood strip. Arguably the stand-out feature of the car is a custom illuminated cabinet towards the rear of the car, which features pieces of the crankshaft from the original car. When Bentley re-acquired the 8-Liter in 2006, the crankshaft was removed and has now been divided into 100 pieces, with one in each of the 100 editions of the Mulsanne W.O. Edition.
