'Star Wars,' 'E.T.' and More Get 1980s 8-Bit Floor Plan GIF Art

Creative content firm Neomam has produced seven 8-bit GIFs depicting iconic scenes from 1980’s pop culture classics such as Star Wars, Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, and more. Neomam paired with home design firm Angie’s List to utilize these franchises to evoke to retro visuals featured more prominently in the ’80s and garner to younger audiences.
The move also reflects the ongoing evolution of advertisement, as modern consumers gravitate to more interactive advertisements. Depicted scenes include Obi-Wan Kenobi from A New Hope running around the Millennium Falcon, Doc’s Garage and the Delorean from Back to the Future, and the old firefighter base the Ghostbusters use.
