ZDDZ Reworks Inflatable Life Vests for FW18
Military silhouettes and chunky knits.

London-based label ZDDZ has launched its Fall/Winter 2018 collection, titled “Younger Generation,” which is inspired by inflatable life vests and the graphics found in safety manuals. The collection also explores the psychological aspects of growing up and the event of adulthood, which is represented by the “ADULT/KID” motifs seen throughout the range.
The collection pieces are developed around familiar military and workwear codes — Air Force uniforms, utility vests, bomber jackets, and orange/black/yellow color palette — and paired with chunky knits and more formal garments such as blazers. The range’s accessories category continues the utility theme, featuring an oversized knit scarf with graphics pulled from safety hazard tags, as well as waist packs fixed with safety belt buckles.
